Yes the salamander on my child’s head is real. I didn’t realize how strange that might seem until I read your comments lol.

There is a swimming hole in our area that just seems to have a ton of salamanders and they will basically swim right up to. We let them crawl all over us. The kids love to hold them. If you have never held one before, they feel a lot like a frog but they move slow like a turtle. They are soft and gentle and not at all skitish.
