Toasted Egg Shapes Toddler Breakfast

Here’s a fun twist on the plain old eggs with toast breakfast. We used a star but have fun and use any shape cookie cutters you have around the house. Give this recipe a try this weekend! Your kids will love it!

1 slice of bread

1 egg

Butter

Heat a frying pan on med-low and lightly butter both sides of your bread slice. Use and small cookie cutter and press into the center of the bread. Then place the slice of bread in the frying pan with the shape beside it and crack the egg over the bread into the hole. When the bread is toasted and the egg whitens flip over and cook for about 5 min on the other side. Thats it! Enjoy!

Raw Foods Challenge Update

My husband is no longer doing the challenge either. I’m very proud of him for hanging in there though he beat me by a few days lol. However he is still bringing salads and lots of veggies to work. And we are all still doing the green smoothies every morning and sometimes at night. Braydon wakes up in the morning and thats the first thing he asks for. He loves them! We are eating a small breakfast in addition to our smoothie and normal snacks and meals throughout the day. We are really trying to eat healthier and at least get the daily recommended fruits and veggies through the smoothies.
My husband says he can tell a definite difference in his energy and just over-all feeling well. I am not sure yet if I feel a real difference but it may be too early to tell. I hope that changing our eating habits will also help to prevent some illnesses this season. Has anyone tried one yet? They really do taste good! I promise!

A Worm In My Salad!

I couldn’t take it anymore! My last straw was finding a WORM in my salad! Of course I only had a few bites left and out crawls a bright green fat worm! I guess thats organic for ya! I thought I would last more than 2 days but apparently I am weaker than I thought lol. Anyways my husband is still going strong! But I don’t think he’ll last much longer. I am still breastfeeding so I am just going to blame it on that making me extra hungry all the time instead of my lack of will power and LOVE of food lol. I am going to continue to do the green smoothies everyday though because they are easy and taste good and I know I don’t eat nearly enough fruits and veggies. Anyways I am very proud of my husband because I know how hard it is and he is around all of us eating right in front of him and he still is drinking his 60% veggie 40% fruit smoothies and eating his salads. I will post some smoothie recipes this week in case anybody wants to try them. Have a good weekend!!!

Day 2 Raw Foods Challenge

Its getting worse! I think. Sort of fluish symtoms, hard to sleep last night, and very very hungry. Nothing seems to fill me up. I keep eating and eating and very little feeling of satisfaction. It’s only middle of day 2 and it is so hard for me to not give up right now. How do people actually do this for life! Right now we are making it hour by hour! I really didn’t think it would be this hard.
